Product Overview
FDM Combustible Gas Device is a high-performance product with built-in MCU, OLED display, remote control operation, high-quality catalytic combustion sensor, combined with advanced digital processing technology, which can continuously and comprehensively detect combustible gases in indoor and outdoor environments. Monitor, and output the monitoring signal to the gas alarm controller or other signal acquisition equipment. The device can also be easily connected to other secondary instruments and control systems. The shell is made of cast aluminum alloy, and the surface is painted, which is waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, and can meet the requirements of various environments. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, refining, gas transmission and distribution, biochemical medicine and other fields. (This product implements the national standard GB15322.1-2019 point-type combustible gas detector for industrial and commercial purposes)
Principle
The principle of catalytic combustion detection. The principle is the structure of a Wheatstone bridge.Its measuring bridge is coated with a catalytic substance, which is not consumed during the entire measuring process. Even when the concentration of gas and vapor in the air is much lower than that of LEL, they will have catalytic combustion reaction on this bridge. During measurement, a voltage should be applied to the reference and measuring bridges to heat them to cause a catalytic reaction. The temperature is about 500°C or higher. Normally, the bridge is balanced, V1=V2, and the output is zero. If there is a flammable gas, its oxidation process will heat the measuring bridge and increase the temperature, while the reference bridge temperature remains unchanged. The circuit will measure the resistance change between them, V2>V1, and the output voltage is proportional to the concentration of the gas to be measured.
