Principle
Principles of solid state electrochemical detection. The principle is that two reaction electrodes, a working electrode and a counter electrode and a reference electrode are placed in a specific electrolyte, and then sufficient voltage is applied between the reaction electrodes to enable the REDOX reaction to be carried out through the gas under test coated with a thin film of heavy metal catalyst. The current generated by gas electrolysis is measured by the circuit system in the instrument, and then the gas concentration is calculated by the microprocessor.
