Product Overview
The Ammonia Device adopts the new intelligent solid-state polymer detection technology, which provides a new gas detection technology with high precision, long life and wide detection range. The defect of sensitivity attenuation of traditional electrochemical gas sensor is solved. The higher the ammonia concentration is, the faster the sensor is consumed. As a result, the life of the sensor will deteriorate rapidly and end quickly, leading to irreversible damage and resulting in frequent replacement of the sensor, which adds more maintenance and costs.
Ammonia concentration in animal husbandry have various negative effects on animals and our environment, in a high ammonia environment, cattle are at higher risk of disease. The air around the farm, both inside and outside, is polluted and has a pungent smell.
ECtox biggest advantage is can use for a long time under the environment of high concentration of ammonia, but also can guarantee long life, realizes the solid polymer electrochemical gas sensor in industrial application environment, life period or extreme environment without calibration, maintenance free of technological innovation. The built-in micro gas sampling device can easily transport gas to the ammonia gas sensor.
The product can be to test the limits of gas, the temperature of 200 ℃ to 40 ℃ low temperature gas direct sampling detection, break through the electrochemical principle cannot work in more than 55 ℃ environment technical problem, can evaluate the long term in the dry gas, at the same time guarantee the life. The breakthrough of electrochemical sensor can not be used in dry environment.
The sensor can be used for farms, ammonia leakage detection and cold storage of liquid ammonia leakage, sudden chemical leakage accident of applications. RS485 (Modbus) output signals will be easily connected to a gas detector host for display, or to a controller, DCS, PLC or wireless system.
Principle
The ECtox device contains an EC Sense solid electrolyte Ammonia gas sensor featuring long lifetime, robustness and selectivity. Based on a specific electrochemical reaction and in combination with a sample pump the device measures Ammonia concentration in a wide range. The gas reaches the working electrode of the sensor by a certain pump volume, which is always constant. All gas in the offered gas volume will be consumed by the sensor. It creats a signal peak, which is proportional to the Ammonia concentration in the measuring gas. No calibration is necessary due to the coulometric measuring principe.
The sampling system is good for different densities, the speed of diffusion and convection is usually vslow or depends on the environment, and temperature and different concentration influenced the speed of molecular motion. Sampling System let gas easy going to sensor.
